It had been a while since I had a relaxing vacation with my wife. She left no opportunity to remind me of that. I planned to surprise her on our anniversary. She had never been to Dubai before, so I thought it would be an ideal destination for our special occasion. Firstly, I wanted to plan a perfect itinerary for her.
I went on the internet to find a competent travel manager. There were many travel managers with almost perfect reviews. It was difficult for me to pick one. I asked my cousin if she knew an ideal travel manager who could make my anniversary a memorable experience. A Wholesome Anniversary Trip to Dubai
After a safe flight to Dubai International Airport (DXB), we received a warm welcome from the car rental. Nevertheless, the driver helped us with our luggage and guided us to the Pullman Hotel in Downtown, Dubai. We checked in and rested for a while to get rid of jet lag. In the evening, the same driver came to pick us up for a traditional dhow cruise.
The cruise along Dubai Marina was mesmerizing. The highlight of the cruise was the city’s iconic skyline, adorned with sparkling lights and landmarks. We also enjoyed a savory dinner on the cruise, which added to the magical ambiance. After the tour, the driver dropped us off at our hotel for an overnight stay. It was an exciting start to our anniversary celebration.
On the second day, we had a half-day cruise. During the first part of the day, we spent time at the hotel. In the afternoon, our driver came to pick us up for a glorious city tour. The tour included stunning destinations, such as Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, Jumeirah Beach, Atlantis Palm Hotel, Dubai Mall, Dubai Museum, Mall of the Emirates, and Jumeirah Mosque. The only downside of the tour was that it was a shared experience. The tour’s highlight was undoubtedly the aerial view from the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa. The evening’s panorama was a spectacle to behold. Later in the evening, we got back to the hotel and enjoyed a delicious dinner, which was not complimentary.
The third day was also special—our fifth anniversary. Since the morning was leisurely, I placed an order for a bottle of champagne and an anniversary cake at the hotel itself. The delivery was on time, and we had the perfect morning to ourselves. The day soon came; so did our driver. We got into the car and headed for a desert camp somewhere in the Arabian desert. We enjoyed dune bashing on a 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser. Camel riding was a new experience, and sandboarding was great. In the evening, we enjoyed the highlights of the desert: belly dancing and fire shows. The BBQ dinner was lip-smacking, and overall, the experience was 10 out of 10. We returned to our hotel late at night and dodged off as soon as we hit the bed.
On the fourth day, we had a surprise transfer to the hotel Atlantis The Palm. Once we had checked in, we proceeded to explore the majestic place. The fun in the Aquaventure Waterpark was absolutely out of this world. After cooling off for about an hour, we decided to explore the Lost Chambers Aquarium. The experience was surreal and truly astounding. Exploring the aquatic life from below was amazing, and the engineering for everything was mind-boggling. After all that, we relished the solitude of the private beaches, sipping exotic drinks. The evening was really romantic. After enjoying our dinner at Seafire Steakhouse & Bar, we wandered around, taking in amazing sights like the Skyblaze Fountain. It was quite a night. Soon, we cuddled up in our cozy suite bed.
On the last day, we checked out from the hotel at around 11, and the airport shuttle took us to the airport. We got our boarding passes, enjoyed coffee at the airport lounge, took some pictures, and flew back after about an hour. The overall experience was amazing. It was better than I expected. My wife, too, enjoyed the experience. We heartily thank FriendsCarRental for such a wonderful experience.
