Onam Celebration 2022 – Co-Sponsored by GCC Exchange
Indian Association Sharjah conducted Onam Celebration 2022 which was Co-sponsored by GCC Exchange, the event hall was fully packed with excitement, fun, and action with all the Keralites coming together and celebrating the cultural programs which was held at Sharjah Expo Center on Sunday 25th September 2022. Over 20,000 people came to witness the Onam Celebration, GCC Exchange also conducted a Register & Win contest for the attendees and members of IAS and awarded the winners. GCC Exchange was happy to contribute to IAS Onam Celebration 2022, especially because this year marks the golden jubilee of H.H. Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Muhammed Al Qasimi and the 75th year of Indian Independence.
About Onam:
Onam is the biggest and the most important festival of the state of Kerala. It is a harvest festival and is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm all over the state by people of all communities. According to a popular legend, the festival is celebrated to welcome King Mahabali, whose spirit is said to visit Kerala at the time of Onam.
