1. Never Do Drugs

Dubai is known for its zero tolerance to drugs in anyway. Simply put in Dubai the use, sale or possession of drugs (illegal narcotics) in any way could land travelers in jail. Even prescription/over the counter drugs that are contrabands should not be found on anyone as this attracts severe jail term/punishment.

2. No Loud Singing and Dancing

In Dubai, blaring loud music and dancing in the streets is prohibited. Unless you on an official dancefloor, unnecessary loud singing and dancing should not be entertained in Dubai.

3. No Public Display Of Affection

When in Dubai, the kisses, smooches should be done indoors, inappropriate public displays of affection are deemed indecent! Making out in public (not even sex or smooches on the beach) are entertained. Affectionate displays can get you arrested so it’s best to keep emotions locked away behind closed doors.

4. No Drinking in Public

Dubai is quite liberal with a lot things but inappropriate or over consumption of alcohol is frowned at. Foreign residents in Dubai are only allowed to drink alcohol at home if they have a license!

5. No Cursing

Vulgar language or disparaging remarks attract punishable/serious penalties in Dubai. Stay totally away from blasphemous remarks or utterances that insult Muslims.
